The Junior League of Calgary remembers Carol Wilmot, an Emeritus Sustaining Member. Carol died on April 11, 2022.  Carol joined the JLC in 1955 and remained a member until her death. When interviewed for the Emeritus Tea, she credited the League in building her confidence to get out into the community. As a League Sustainer, she acquired her accreditation in Family Life Education at the University of Calgary, Continuing Education. Her League work supported her work in medical admissions at the U of C and with the Government of Alberta in Social Care Facilities.  She was quoted as saying “You wanted to volunteer because it was so much fun.”
