Book Donation Drive for Calgary Reads Big Book Sale!

Please donate gently used adults and/or children’s books for the Calgary Reads Big Book Sale.

What is the 20th Calgary Reads Big Book Sale? The Big Book Sale proceeds will go towards early literacy work in our community. Proceeds from the sale will help children get books of their own, reading experiences with early literacy partners like YW Calgary, Book Bank, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and area and others.

See www.bigbooksale.ca or www.calgaryreads.com, then shop the Big Book Sale from May 10th to the 20th at the Calgary Curling Club.

Calgary Reads was a program that the JLC initiated years ago before placing into the community.

Details: Drop off books in the back room of the JLC office – by April 30. Don’t forget to sign your name on the sheet (on the desk) to earn a JLC point.
